Lou Crocco is a Senior Advisor to The Abraham Group, an international strategic consulting firm focused on the energy sector. Mr. Crocco specializes in natural gas, coal, energy technologies and Pennsylvania energy development issues.
Mr. Crocco worked for over a decade in the Pennsylvania State Legislature eventually rising to the position of Executive Director of the Republican House Policy Committee. Prior to Mr. Crocco’s position on the leadership staff, he was a committee staffer for the Pennsylvania House Health and Human Services Committee.
Upon leaving the legislature, Mr. Crocco joined the lobbying practice for an international law firm based in Pennsylvania. For nine years Mr. Crocco served as Western Pennsylvania Director, Senior Director and the Pennsylvania Managing Director of this firm.
Mr. Crocco is a published author on the topic of legislative advocacy. He holds a patent for technology related to shale gas development and is a co-inventor of technology related to natural gas development and production technology. Mr. Crocco has authored numerous articles regarding natural gas development in the Marcellus Shale.
He has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, abd a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Saint Francis University. Mr. Crocco received his law degree from the Widener University School of law and is admitted to the Pennsylvania and Maryland bars.
